The Australasian Hydrographic Surveying Accreditation Panel (AHSAP) which previously assessed applications for accreditation from spatial professionals in hydrographic surveying and related disciplines under the joint auspices of the ISA and the NZIS has ceased to operate with effect 31 Mar 2005.

Since April 2005, the Panel has been renamed as the Australasian Hydrographic Surveying Certification Panel (AHSCP) and it continues to assess qualifications but now under the joint auspices of the Spatial Sciences Institute (SSI) and the NZIS. Composition of the Panel remains unchanged.

Procedures for all applicants for certification as Hydrographic Surveyors in Australia are now the responsibility of the SSI and may be accessed through www.spatialsciences.org.au

Procedures for all applicants for certification as Hydrographic Surveyors in New Zealand remain the responsibility of the NZIS.
